Friday

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but my son has had a terrible week!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son started school (pre K) on Monday and he had terrible separation Anxiety!!! The teachers said that he would be fine, it would take a few days of crying and he would be better. He had never been to day care or babysat, only with me and my husband. He just turned five and this was subpost to be a wonderful advent in his life, but it was more like hell.

Monday when I went to pick him up they said he wouldn't eat breakfast so one of the teacher took him into a room by himself and trying to make him eat. Then he took his shoes off and one teacher held him down while another teacher forced them back on him. They said he cryed all day and try to get out of the door. When I walk into get him, adam trying to grab one of the teachers hands and she pushed him away and then walked away from him.

Tuesday he would go potty in the school, because they yelled at him Monday for getting some of his on the floor. Three teachers grabbed him and forcefully made his wash his hands, because at 11 am everyone just washes their hands for no reason really. He still cryed all day long. The teacher said he needed to much adult supervision and she cryed that adam and another boy cryed to much for their moms. Whenever we'd drop him off he was screaming that he was scaried of the teachers.

He began having nightmares ~ crying in his sleep no no please mommy help me.

Wed. I wasn't allowed in the classroom, so I was worried about him and decided to go sit in the parking lot to listen to the class room. I heard my son screaming ~ mommy, I want my mommy!!! And then I heard one of the teachers yelled, well, she's not coming, so give it a break!

I was so pissed that I went right in and took my son out of the school. He starts another school this next week! I hope he isn't to scared and they said my husband and I could stay with him until he is comfortable. There are a tons of other things that happened bad, but these were the worst.

Day 3 of the Gratitute Challenge!

Today is day 3 of the gratitute challenge and I am to write about something I feel grateful for today. Today I am grateful that PreK announced that they will be starting on Monday since PA finally passed the budget and they will be getting fundings. My son is 5 and is so ready to go and make friends. I am excited and scaried at the same time. He has always been at home with me and my husband. We have only let a hand full of people watch him and now he will be with 3 different teachers that I don't know anything about. I am hoping he loves it!!! I went to the meeting last night and we weren't suppost to take our kids, but some of the kids were there and I think he is going to have fun with them. I cannot wait to meet the rest of the teachers and kids. I am going to volunteer the first day!

Tuesday

What a night ~ momma's not sharing her pillow with the dog!

Last night my son came into my room and said he was scaried, so I let him lay down in the bed. The next thing I hear is "Stewie, come on Stewie" Adam invited the dog to lay down too! Okay, I'm tire so whatever, they can both lay there as long as Adam goes to sleep. Then I feel a tug on my pillow. I asked Adam, "Why are you trying to take my pillow?, lay your head on dad's pillow." He says, "Come on, my pillow" I said again, "No, use dad's pillow." Adam then said, "Stewie needs a pillow." Oh no, I am not going without a pillow so the dog can have one! I hold on tight to my pillow and tell Adam that he needs to share his pillow with Stewie. In about 15 minutes they are both sleeping, laying there heads on the pillow. It was so cute!

GO PINK OR GO HOME!

GO PINK OR GO HOME! is the message that will unite NASCAR drivers and fans this weekend in Charlotte, NC, as pink-skinned race cars hit the track at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in honor of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Friday night’s Dollar General 300 will feature three pink ribbon-themed cars. Brian Vickers in the pink #32 Dollar General car, Brian Scott in the pink #10 Dollar General car and Jason Leffler in the pink Great Clips car. Dollar General-sponsored IndyCar driver Sarah Fisher, who raced her own pink car last weekend at Miami-Homestead, will serve as the Grand Marshall for the evening.

Saturday night's NASCAR Banking 500 will feature Komen for the Cure partners and NASCAR drivers including Bobby Labonte in the #96 Ask.com car, Bill Elliott in the #21 Ford/Warriors in Pink car, Kyle Busch in the #18 M&Ms car, Michael Waltrip in the #55 NAPA Auto Parts car, and Elliott Sadler in the #19 Stanley car.
Komen would like to thank our partners and the NASCAR family for embracing our cause in such a visible way. It is with the help of partners like these and supporters like you that we will fulfill the promise our founder made nearly 30 years ago to her dying sister - to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

A little note that shows big potential.

Promise to make a big difference with lunch note promise!!!!!
What's the Lunch Note Promise campaign, brought to you by Lunchables, about? Giving kids what they need to help them do their best. All we need from you is a promise to give a lunch note to your kids. It can be about anything-like some encouragement for the big soccer game or an important test. You can even use our fancy designs if you want. Or the not so fancy ones, we're easy. Do that and we'll give a free meal to a child in need so they can do THEIR best.

Here's how the donation works: For every parent who makes the lunch note promise, the Lunchables team will donate a meal to a child and their family in need through Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity, which serves an estimated nine million children annually. The goal is to turn up to 100,000 promises from moms like you into up to 100,000 meals from Lunchables Lunch Combinations for kids in need.

To get started go to kraft with this link! This is such a wonderful idea and I love the cards!!!

http://kraft.promotions.com/lunchnotespromise/

Write a note and we'll donate a lunch!
Let's make a promise. All you need to do is promise to drop a note in your kid's lunch. Do that and we'll give a free meal to a kid in need. Together, we can turn that little note into a world of difference.

Cruise for hope

http://www.icancruiseforhope.com/index.html

A friend just sent me this site about taking a cruise for hope. To help raise awareness for cancer. I am a hugh cancer awareness advocate and thought I would share the information and the site with all you. The site is beautifully done by the host Jackie Tate Stewart.

Jackie says;

"I am so pleased to announce the first annual I Can Cruise for Hope event. My family has been touched by Cancer and I’m always trying to come up with ways to help. In trying to think of a way to raise money and awareness for Cancer research, I thought, what better way to bring people together for a common goal while having a ton of fun! I personally invite you to join us for this amazing week. We welcome everyone. Survivors, caregivers, families, friends, support groups, and anyone believing in supporting Cancer awareness and research. I look forward to seeing you there!"

The prices are a little high, but what an adventure it would be to set sail on a great cruise with everyone fighting for an awesome cause!

Things NEVER say to a Pregnant Woman

Things NEVER Say to a Pregnant Woman

Posted by Jenna at 9:14 AM

The other day someone did something that, although funny, reminded me of all the tactless things people said while I was pregnant. I am still breastfeeding my 5 month old and took him to his grandpa's work to run an errand. While there, a woman I have never met before spilled a liquid on the breast-region of her shirt and explained "Look, I'm you! I'm still breastfeeding!". Totally tactless, but alas, not anywhere near as bad as the words I'm about to share!

1. Random Strangers: "You're HUGE!" Thanks, I was just about to say the same thing about you, asshole.

2. Woman on the Street: "It's a girl, because you're carrying all your weight in your face." She said this with a straight face, I'm not lying.

3. My husband Dave: "Where's my carton of ice cream I bought yesterday? Did you eat ALL of it?" Take one guess and just one step closer buddy.

4. Woman at family party: " Was the baby planned?" Umm, no actually. So, we plan to love him a little less and discipline him a little more. Mind your business for Christ sake!

5. My husband Dave: " Do you feel like an orgasm or a foot massage?" Foot massage, hands down, every time! Don't ask that question again.

6. My husband's Friend: "Is sex better when you're pregnant?" That depends, champ, on whether you were even any good at it in the first place.

7. My husband Dave: " I've checked out pregnant porn. It doesn't do anything for me." Again, thanks honey. I'll take that foot massage now then.

8. Drunk woman on the street. "Can I rub your belly for good luck? I'm trying to get pregnant." Wow. Perhaps you should be checking into rehab instead. But if you think rubbing my belly will help, then I probably won't worry too much about you then.

9. Old Lady at Christmas party: "It is so nice you're having a Christmas baby!" Um, yes. But I'm due in April.

10. Friend in the movie store: "Oh, let me see if you're having a boy or girl." She turns me around and lifts up the tent I'm wearing to look at my butt. "Oh, defiantly gotten waaayy bigger. You're having a girl!" It doesn't get any better than this, because I was having a boy. Thanks Liza! I still love you.

So, next time you encounter a pregnant woman, please just lie to us. Lie through your teeth, we don't care. Tell us we're glowing, and have barely gained any weight, thank you. I'm sure there are a lot more pregnant faux pas out there (enough to show me through a second pregnancy!) Please share in the comments some stupid this people have said to you all while pregnant... Here is the button for Jenna who wrote this post!

My new job!

I have just started working at the recreational center in my town as the concession manager. So far I love it!!! I work with the best group of people, who are nice and hard workers. There is an ice rink and a pool. We have a lot of hockey games almost everyday. Hockey is a really big sport in my area, I don't know anyone who doesn't love to watch it. The high school in the area is doing really well. They are in first place so far!!! I am excited to continue watching the games!
