Elmer's Craft bond and X-acto products!!

I am so excited that I got the opportunity  review.....
Elmer's craft bond and X-acto products!!

I recieved the Elmer's tape runner, Elmer's glue spots, Elmer's glue pen, and Elmer's glue stick.

And from X-acto I recieved 2 pair of scissors that cute the cutest edges and a corner rounder punch.

I truely love all of the products and think Elmer's is the best glue for all my crafts, I am so happy they came out with glue products that I can use for scrapbooking too.  The glue spots are easy and NO mess!  The tape runner is a scrapbookers dream ~ you can cover the edges quick and easy, then put it in place and you are done.  My son and I made a couple halloween decorations with these products:
this is a mouse my son made in a few minutes that I thought was cute.

He used the glue stick and the tape runner.

I made the parts for a chore chart to start having Adam use;

To make these labels I used the corner rounder punch, the tape runner, and the glue stick.  I made the pieces with my cricut.  I will do another post with the complete chore chart.

I would like to thank Bzz, Elmer's and X-acto for letting me review this items!!!  I have been a bzzagent for a little over a year and I think they are awesome and love reviewing for them.

If you homeschool please help me deside????

I have my son in preschool at the moment and my sister is his teacher.  They have always been like oil and water.  But she promised that she would help him and that he would do great in her class.  Well, he has my stubborn streak in him and isn't the best listener.  So how they tell him 2 times what they want him to do and then take him by the arm there and make him do it.  Or grab his hands and make him pick up whatever they are asking him to pick up.  I am not to sure of the force or the tone of their voices, but he is now hitting them.  He has never done this in school before.  He went last year and all through the summer, then started the year out good.  Now this is happening everyday this week and I am getting texts from my sister that they aren't doing anything differently.  It just wierd that he would hit without a reason.  And she let me know that she is recommending he be tested and labeling him a behavioral problem child.  WHAT????  I kept him home today and he and I hung out.  We did arts and crafts, computer work on brainpop (which he loves) and made lunch and brownies together.  I didn't have much of a problem getting him to do whatever asked.

She also asked if I would pick him up at 1:00 from now on because at 1:15 they lay down for naptime and he doesn't nap and wants to play and read.  So he will miss naptime, snack time and free time.  Free time is his favorite time of the whole day.

I do not know what to do.  I have been looking up home schooling and cyber schools and I am at a loss and would love advise from you all.

My son's birthday is quickly approaching!!

My son will be turing 6 at the end of the month and I am so excited for his party.  We are going to have a Toy Story theme and a friend is making the cakes and she does a fabulous job every year.  We usually invite so many family and friends that we home is packed and the back yard is filled too.  But this year, I asked him who all he wanted to invite to his birthday party? He replied, Billy, Madison and Brody.  I said, okay, but who else.  He said, no body else.  I named off a few others and simply said no thanks to most of them.  So for the first time, we are going to do a very low key party ~ hoping no one gets mad that they weren't invited.  But it is his party.  I am going to invite grandparents, his aunts and uncles, and his cousins.  No more extended family or my husband's and my friends and their families.

How I am coming up with all of the ideas to make the Toy Story theme.  Of course the cake will be Buzz and Woody.  I have a table cloth and cake plates.  I am going to go and get some of the decorations and the goody bags today.

This will also be the first year he gets to take stuff in for his party at school.  We are going to take ice cream and cones ~ Adam's favorite dessert!!! YUMMY!  and goody bags.   The teacher has the whole day all about the child and she does all kinds of neat things all day long.  One thing I know she does is have all of the children that day make birthday cards, I think that is so cute.

Well I am off to get everyone up and ready for school and go shopping!!!

Looking for quick and easy kid friendly recipes!

I am going to be working more nights and need some yummy kid friendly recipes that my husband came make.   If you have any or know of a really good site, please let me know!!!   I would love a recipe on making my own chicken nuggets too ~ it you have one :)

Today has been busy!

I have been to work getting everything ready for the winter season to start this Saturday!!!  I am so excited for hockey and figure skating to start.  I love to watch both and all of the kids are so friendly.

I got all of the food ordered and started cleaning.  I will be in organizing and cleaning for the rest of the week.

Mad at my mom!

Last night my husband and I went to his 15 year class reunion and my mom came over to babysit.  My sister's son (who's 12) was already here hanging with Adam.

As soon as she comes in she asks my husband to help her put flooring in her basement, then said if you do I buy you a case of beer and give you a lap dance ?????? what the hell.  I said, Mom please don't act like a hooker to my husband!   My mom, Oh I was just teasing heehee!

She has started hanging with some bar hoppers and has started acting like them ~ gross!

Then I came home and she was acting like she was so proud at yelling at Adam for rewinding the movie to watch the same part again. And said they got into a 15 minute yelling match and then said, and guess who won??  ME!  I thought ~ RUDE!  He knows he is allowed to do it and she knew it too.  I do not understand why people think it funny to try to teach him this is how it is instead of just being a grandma and loving them.

Then I noticed a mark on his forhead from falling I was told.

They didn't get a long the whole time and my nephew told me my mom was mean to my son the whole time.
I am so mad and don't know what I just do..............................

September 11th

I remember where I was all to well............... I was the manager of Ames department store at the time and we just stood and watched the TVs and listen to all of the tragic news stories coming. I was so scaried because my brother was in the Army at the time overseas and we didn't know if he was ok, it took us a week to hear from him.

My heart and prayers go out to all of the men and women serving for our country and our freedom!
Thank you all!

Amazingly long day!

I have been busy seen I got up (to early) this morning.  First getting ready and out the door to drop Adam off to school ~ amazingly we got there a few minutes earily.  Then off to the store for a supplies.  Then I had to go into work to get everything ready for my meetings.  It took me 5 hours to prepare all of the agendas and copies needed and to set up.  Then phone calls until my ear hurt ~ LOL!!!  Everything set and ready (amazingly)!!!

Then off to pick Adam up from school and get ice cream from our favorite ice cream shop - YUMMY!  But I was being good, so Adam was the only one enjoying this yummy treat today.  Then I had to take him home and get myself ready for the meetings that started at 4:30.  I woke my husband up, who works 3rd shift - so he could watch our son.

Oh crap, it's my mom's birthday ~ a quick call to let her know I was thinking about her and to wish her a happy birthday and hope that she was having a great day :)

Time to go and pick up the 12 pizzas waiting for me at Little Ceasars.  Everyone waiting was mad, because I took all of the pizzas as soon as I walked in.  But I called and ordered ahead (I love that you can do this)  I guess not a good idea to hog all the pizza right before dinner time :(

Just making it to the meeting ~ where all of the teenagers where waiting and wanting hugs.  I work with some awesome kids.  They do such an amazing job of customer service and are always smiling!!!  We run the biggest events in our area.  Hockey rocks!

The meeting, of course took to long and the complaining started that they had thinks to do.  So being the easy going girl I am, I cut the last meeting short and release them to go enjoy the last couple of hours of daylight.  As I cleaned up the meeting and cleaned the concession area from all the pop someone blasted ~ it seemed like 6 miles!!

Finally done and heading home!!!  I took the last two pizzas home for my family and saw smiles all around!
Awwww, how wonderful it is to be home.

Hung out with Matt and Adam for a little, then Matt was off to work and Adam to dreamland and me to blogheaven!

And that was my day in a nut shell haha!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday!

After my dad passed away my mom was very depressed and stayed to herself, but she is back to being my happy momma and loving life more each day.  We all still miss him so much, but I am glad she is smiling once again.  She came over one night and asked me to take these pictures for her.  She is just to cute!
My Mom!

My son's 6th birthday........

My son's 6th birthday is soon approaching and we are going to have a Toy Story parties.  I have a friend making the cake, but I want to do it up and make it really neat.  So if anyone has any ideas on decorations, favors, food, ect..... please let me know!!!  Thanks :)

Adam loves both Woody and Buzz Lightyear!!   He calls them spaceman and cowboy.  I am also decorating his bedroom in this theme.  I am trying to find a curtain pattern that is unique to make too.

He birthday is the 28th of Sept, but we aren't doing the party until the second Saturday in October.  Thanks again and I look forward to hearing all your wonderful ideas :)

One more full day with my son!

I have one more full day to hang with my son before he starts school and I go back to work on Thursaday.  Adam goes to school until 1 and then I have to go pick him up to go to the doctor's and get his shots.  Isn't that a stinker :(

I so hope that he enjoys school this year.  He is going to be going to preschool one more year.  My sister is going to be his teacher, I love it :)  Haha and I really hope they do too!!!  Her assistant was Adam's teacher for the summer and he loves her.  Last year and this summer he only went for 4 hours - 3 days a week.  But he will be going all day - 5 days a week this year.

I guess one of the reasons I am so sad is the fact I work nights.  I won't be able to see him as much as I like to, we do love hanging together laughing.  But I will have to make sure I give him some great attention, I do not want him missing me too!!  I know I am sure it will affect me more then him, my mom already informed me. LOL!!

What a wonderful week!

This week has been so awesome for me and my family. My husband and I have been trying to work things out and make our marriage work. We both took the week off from work and took Adam out of school, so we could hang together. We went to the fair (take in the barns most of the time ~ Adam loves all of the animals, but the rabbits and chickens were his favorites), we went to the Children's museum, fed the fish, school shopped and just hung out together. It was a week that help me try to forgive and move on from the past. It is so hard to forget when someone hurts you ~ but I am finally ready to move on and smile. I want a happy family and I am going to work on us having a happy family again.

My son is the cutest story teller:)

My son is delayed in his speach because of a lot of hearing problems. But he had mastered telling the story of the three little pigs. And I am so happy and proud of him! He tells it in his own special way and does all the actions while telling the story.

Little pig, little pig little ~ let me in.

Not by the hair of my chiny chiny chin.

Then I huff and I huff and I huff and I huff.......

And blow your house in.

He does the cutest biggest blowing and his mouth and lips get really big and just make you smile!

he will tell about all three pigs and then tell about the wolf going on and back up the chimney and then running into the woods. I am going to have to record him sometime for he to hear him tell the story when he is older.

I am teaching him about Goldie Lockes and the three bears now. I cannot wait until he tells the story back to me!!

Spring is coming!

I am so excited to see the warm weather is coming! I am feeling much happier and enjoying playing outdoors with Adam. It is so beautiful and I am hoping for very little to no more snow!!! I am ready to start getting the yard prepared for playing. And planting flowers.

I hope everyone is having an awesome warm day :)

Hello to all!

Wow, it seems like it's been forever since I have blogged. I had to turn off the computers for some time. The last few months have been hard for me and my family. I was really set off getting the divorce and have been struggling with the decision since. My husband has been so different and confusing. One minute he is totally in love with me and can not live without me. Even saying if I leave him he will kill himself. I try so hard to think of my child and what is best for him. I still sit pondering this question and don't know what to do. And then the next minute he is someone I don't even know...............

But the reason for this post is actually to thank Richelle for everything she has done me for. She is a true angel. I am so sorry I haven't thanked you for the christmas gifts and for doing an awesome job with the group. I am so thankful and glad I have you for a friend. You are truely one of a kind. Adam was so thankful and loved the gift. He takes it to school to share, all the kids think it is so neat. He only got a few gifts from me and I can tell you this was one of the favorites. So thank you so very much for thinking of me and my son.

I hope everyone's christmas and new year's were awesome and that this year brings happiness and smiles to all!
