The retelling hand is helpful for students to understand all the elements in the story and to be able to retell the story.
Story mapping is an important strategy that uses the map to introduce the basic structure and elements of the story to your students.
The comprehension question cards are cues to help remind the students about the story and each of the elements in the story. You can use the cards as a whole class, with groups, or have your students partner up and ask each other the questions.
