Paint a picture with words - mental imagaines - set one and a FREEBIE - about autism awareness

This is one of my favorite products I've made and I'm hoping you all love it just as much as I do.  I started making it for my son, who has autism and HATES writing (almost as much as math haha)  I figured this would be a great way to get him to write and see what he knows and get him to pay attention to detail more.  Excitingly he LOVES these worksheets and asks to do more.  This definitely put a huge smile on my face.  I've had many teachers telling me how much they love them so far and the students are enjoying doing them and learning as they go.

Paint a picture with words let the students give their own answers, and I love reading what they come up with and hearing them talk about each subject.  I made a varied of different subjects in this packet.  There's 26 different pages and the subjects range from superheroes to bullying in school. 

There's Easter, Earth day, and Mother's day in this packet also.

Light it up blue - Autism Awareness

I want to share with you all my latest project I put on Teachers pay Teachers.  I'm so thankful for my son and I'm happy to express it everyday anyway I can.  I made a Light it up blue - Autism Awareness packet, in the hopes to spread awareness.

I added posters, bookmarkers, writing prompts, badges, reminders for the students to take home, and a bulletin board project.

I love the bulletin board project, because the kids can freely write what they think and know about autism and autism awareness.  Then as other children pass the bulletin board they can look at it and it will start conversations.  A perfect way to spread awareness.

I truly believe awareness is the key to understanding.

My son and I wrote a book about autism and I LOVE it!!

I sat my son down and asked him lots of questions and talked to him about autism.  We talked about how he felt about everyday things that affect his daily life.  He gave the answers then I typed it up and added extra information pages after the book.

The book is called "I'm a kid with autism... And here's the top 10 things I'd like you to know about me...
